Growing up on a remote homestead in the mountains of northwestern British Columbia, I was blessed to be surrounded snugly by a sea of wilderness. My childhood years were passed on a largely self-sufficient homestead in the secluded and vibrant forest. This early immersion in nature granted me a deep-rooted reverence for the land from which we all evolved, and instilled in me a passion to convey this importance to others.
An affinity for acrylic paint led me to study beneath the fluorescent lights of OCAD in Toronto. Wanderlust has ruled much of my adult years, and a kaleidoscope of changing horizons led to becoming an internationally-collected artist. I have presented solo exhibitions in Paris, Spain, and Vancouver, plus group shows in Whistler, Toronto, England and New York, NY. The beauty of nature encompassing my current abode in the coast mountains near Whistler, BC, provides me with endless inspiration.
